Agile has an opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant based in Surrey, BC. This is a full-time permanent position working on a hybrid model at home and in office.

The Underwriting Assistant is an integral part of a dynamic team. 

In this role you will:  

  • Process all policy documentation including new business proposals, renewals, invoicing, cancellations, and endorsements
  • Assist underwriters with following up on information from brokers and clients
  • Manage abeyance system and renewal logs to meet client service standards
  • Various other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in insurance industry
  • General Insurance Level 1 License preferred    
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential, excellent organizational skills and a team player
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion are important qualities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic without sacrificing the ability to have fun on the job
